I never knew how much I wanted an Avanti on Torq Thrusts until now.

lol Studebaker made like 4,000 or 5,000 Avantis. Also that one is an Avanti II, not made by Studebaker. I’d say CP just because the guy is full of shit.

I’d say NP. Also I live in Springfield so that’s neat. Too bad it’s in Missouri otherwise I’d love to look at it.

Frame Rust + 5k = CP

The frame rust is the issue, check the Avanti Forums, I’ve always wanted one and have had a hard time finding a cheap one that didn’t need body off frame repair.

“Frame rust but still driveable”
Red flag. Cp

The seller is an idiot who knows nothing about the car... but it could be a nice price.
The car definitely needs work.. .especially with frame rust. And it needs a paint job. And of course, we haven’t seen the state the interior or engine bay is in.
In decent shape, these go for $10K to $25K. Or they sell for $50K if you go to a classic car dealer that overprices everything.

Probably, but, if the interior’s shot and the hog troughs are rusted, it would cost quite a bit to fix up. You already know it needs paint, and the ad doesn’t say much about the mechanicals. These things should be more like $15,000 and up in slightly rough around the edges driver condition.
